To Our Amazing Backers:
We are very proud to announce that Good Ol' Freda has been selected as a
headliner film at the prestigious South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin,
TX! The world premiere is scheduled for March 9th and Freda will be coming from
Liverpool to be there in person. Needless to say, Freda was very surprised to
see her name alongside Jim Carrey’s and Steve Carell’s in yesterday’s early
announcement here!
We wish that each and every one of you could be there with us, as your
support has gotten us this far. As we face this final stretch to the finish
line, we’re now facing over $75,000 in post-production costs such as licensing
never-before-seen photos and footage of The Beatles, some very special music(!),
and a myriad of technical needs such as sound and color correction that must be
done to finish the film. Contributions of all amounts help us chip away at these
costs and help ensure we can have a finished film ready for its world premiere.
